BD’s Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to the most qualified individuals who are pursuing hard to fill technical careers. The Scholarship award is in the amount of $5,000 over the course of the program ($2,500 per year). The awardee will have a 2 year work commitment to BD upon the completion of his/her degree. The scholarship money will be taxable upon graduation.
Scholarships are available for the following technical degrees:
Electric/Electrical Mechanical
Machine Tool
Mold Maker
Manufacturing Engineering Tech

GAteway Motors
Gateway Motors Sponsorship Program offers students interested in becoming certified service technicians an opportunity to attend Southeast Community College and receive a $10,000.00 reimbursement upon completion of graduation. In addition to the scholarship, you will also receive a paid position at Gateway Motors during college break sessions. For more information go to https://www.southeast.edu/GMASEP/
During the 2016-2017 school year, Gateway Motors will select one student to enter the GM Service Technician Program at SCC. The selection criteria include:
1. Apply and be accepted to SEC
2. Provide Gateway Motors with a resume
3. Complete an application for employment at Gateway Motors
Applications for employment at Gateway Motors may be picked up on site or at the CAPABLE office.
Preference for this scholarship will be given to students interested in the SCC program, however if a student has shown a strong dedication to becoming a service technician, Gateway Motors will consider students interested in other service technician schools, such as Northeast Community College, Central Community College, or Mid-Plains Community College.

Plains Equipment Group
John Deere Ag Tech Student Sponsorship
Educational sponsorships are available through Plains Equipment Group. Our technical programs include classroom and lab instruction at a local Community College, along with a paid internship at one of our dealership locations. You also have the benefit of completing several JD University Courses, for credit, during their time in school. After 2 years, you will have an Associate’s Degree AND valuable hands-on work experience! Upon successful graduation from the college program, you will also be guaranteed a full-time position at one of our locations.

Titan Machinery
DEADLINE: March 1, 2017
Titan Machinery Sponosorship Program is a Diesel Mechanic sponsorship. This program will pay all Central Community College diesel technology program school cost, including tuition, fees, books,a nd tools. This sponsorship does not provide for the cost of room and board. The selected student(s) will be asked to work for Titan Machinery for two years upon completing the CCC diese l program AAS degree.
Titan Machinery will interview and select between 15 and 20 students to enter the CCC diesel program in the fall of 2015. Selection criteria include:
1.Apply and be accepted to CCC
2. Complete the Titan application for sponsorship (enclosed)
3. Visit the CCC diesel program (contact CCC admission's office to set this up)
4. Enclose with the scholarship application an ACT (preferred), COMPASS, or ASSET score

GREAT PLAINS COMMUNICATIONS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Applicant must be a graduating senior and a customer of Great Plains Communications. Applicant must be accepted for admission at a Nebraska state or private college to pursue a Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, to a Nebraska one- or two- year trade or technical school, to Northwest Technical Institute of Goodland, Kansas, or Mitchell Technical Institute of Mitchell, South Dakota for the fall term of the year the scholarship is awarded. Applicant must also have a very strong desire to return to their hometown (or other Great Plains Communications community) to pursue their career.
Up to ten $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded statewide each year.

The Foundation for Rural Service is an affiliate of the National Telephone Cooperative Association (NTCA), an organization of independent telephone companies across the United States. Awards are granted to students sponsored by a National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) member company and, if chosen, are awarded $2,000 by FRS in addition to a $500 scholarship match by the sponsoring company.
The FRS Scholarship application requires a signature of sponsorship from Great Plains Communications. In order to meet the scholarship deadline, please send the completed application packet one week prior to the application deadline to:

We are pleased to advise high school students or any high school graduate living within our service area or in areas within our service territory outer boundary, who may be interested in continuing their education, that the Custer Public Power District will offer a scholarship to any Vocational or Community College for the tuition of a Utility Line Program.
Scholarship Guidelines
1. Scholarship Amount: Year 1 - Full tuition.
Year 2 - Full tuition. (Succeeding semester tuition to be paid only upon successful completion of preceding semester.)
